Update - Heart of Pandemics

Since I published my article on the coronavirus pandemic I felt guided to add some further information for God's intervention and the protection in our lives and families. I read a few comments from public figures and felt that they were comments of sound advice.

One is from the Garbandle seer, Conchita Gonzales, who lives in New York, the center of the worst hit area in the U.S. Conchita Gonzales. When asked if she could offer some words of advice to during these difficult times she said,

“God is detaching us from the securities of this world. In the silence of the Church or in our house, we are now able to make an examination of conscience so we can clean what prevents us from hearing the Voice of God clearly. With sincerity we can ask God to tell us what He wants of us today, and continue to do that every day. And spend as much time as possible with God at church or somewhere in your home or where you find the silence. He is all we need."

I strongly agree. God is all we need, yet we must remember that God works through people. Those whose hearts and souls are open to God are open to God's wisdom and love flowing through them. They are channels where God can guide other souls who may not have that inner guidance or even care or believe in God.

Some highly disagree with the restrictions placed upon our travel and freedom to work and even to congregate in prayer. Others strongly agree that the measures are very necessary to curb this pandemic. If you are trapped in a small apartment the feelings of restriction will be greater than if you live in the country and have acres of land surrounding you. If you can't work from home and you live from hand to mouth the severity of the shutdown is going to affect you greater than someone who already works from home or is retired. While it may appear that life is unfair, our choices and God's plan for us put us in different circumstances and lessons to learn. A positive attitude and a heart open to what we each have to learn from this sudden course in life will go a long way to stay well but also heal our souls of disease we may have carried for not only this life but other lifetimes.

Some say that people die every day and the chances of dying from driving your car or other accidents is just as great, "So what is the big deal with people dying when deaths happen anyway? I believe that is easy to say when you are not touched personally by the deaths. During the Diphtheria epidemic in the 18th and 19th century, some families lost all their children, up to seven or eight children. It is unimaginable to have to endure that tragedy.

Two people die every minute from car accidents. Every two seconds someone has a heart attack and succumb to the disease. Sure, some can think, "people die every second and the world population is great and may even appear to be too great for the planet to handle. Let the pandemic reduce the population as it has done before." Yes, other pandemics have greatly reduced the world population but when it hits home it is traumatic to say the least. People sometimes had to be buried in mass graves. In the 14 century the Bubonic Plague, called the Black Death, is estimated to have killed up to 60% of Europe's population. There is no doubt about the resulting negative effects on the world. The economy underwent abrupt and extreme inflation as the workforce was drastically reduced. On the positive side, every laborer was more necessary than ever and their value was greater, as well as serfdom disappeared.

I do believe our deaths are in God's hands and if we are going to leave this world it will be in God's timing according to the plan of our lives in conjunction with the choices we make during our lives. Obviously, if we live dangerously or if we do not eat properly or live in an unhealthy environment we increase our risk of early death. It is also an opportune time to change our lives and perspective to a more positive and loving lifestyle and rethink our reason for being.

It was interesting to read pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan's comments on God and our free will and his suggestion on how the Lord will end this pandemic if mankind repents. He said the pandemic lock-down is an opportunity to grapple with your faith. In a recent Facebook post, he wrote,

“Just like he did with the plagues of Egypt, God has taken away everything we worship” – like athletes, entertainers and money “In three short months, just like He did with the plagues of Egypt, God has taken away everything we worship. God said, ‘you want to worship athletes, I will shut down the stadiums. You want to worship musicians, I will shut down Civic Centers. You want to worship actors, I will shut down theaters. You want to worship money, I will shut down the economy and collapse the stock market. You don't want to go to church and worship Me, I will make it where you can't go to church."

This was the same message I received and wrote in my earlier comments. Turn away from worshiping the things of this world and forgetting that God is our Creator, not that we are the creators and worshiping those creators, even the creator of a possible future vaccine.

Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa has had the gift of prophecy since he was a child. I do not know enough about him to say whether this is true prophecy or not, but he has recently prophesied things that have come true. He predicted in February of this year that we would find the treatment for the coronavirus in Chloroquine (Norolon), a Malaria treatment medication.

He also prophesied on March 1:

“God wants to confound some people. I say the most intelligent people will break down. Doctors will cry. Leaders of nations will cry. What is this thing? Prayer wouldn’t completely stop it but would help and it would come back again but be resolved. If we pray we may find a particular medicine… that will cure. God can put His healing power into anything, even rice. It’s not about finding the right cure, it’s about allowing God to intervene, then the diseases will begin dying down — not because of cure — they never will — but because God will put His power in something that is already available. He wants to prove to us that we are not so educated. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. He will deliver you from this plague and when you become proud again, He will give you another, until you know that God reigns over the kingdoms of men.”

Oil of Oregano
I wanted to share with you a simple way to help yourself heal. I was led to what would help heal my nectarine tree. I was living in Northern California and the house I bought had one producing fruit tree. One day my neighbor told me my tree was making his fruit trees diseased and I needed to cut my tree down. It had Peach leaf curl which is caused by the fungus Taphrina deformans, which infects peach, nectarine, and almond trees. The disease was first introduced to America in the 1800s and can be found in nearly every peach growing area of the world.

Researching, I discovered how easily it spreads and how it infects the soil, and hibernates in the tree trunk. The yearly use of copper fungicides is the recommendation. You have to cover at least 90% of the tree with the spray and then spray twice a month for three months. The answer is to grow disease-resistant species instead.

In my research, I read somewhere that oil of oregano is known for its antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. It contains several potentially healing compounds and others have used it as a fungicide on their fruit trees. I happened to have some in my essential oils and thought I would try it. I did not know it was a nectarine tree as I have never owned one or knew what they looked like until my neighbor told me and I really wanted to keep the tree and not cut it down.

I sprayed the tree in late winter and as it started to open its leaves. It was a scraggly tall and thin tree right on my fence line and hung over my neighbor's yard! How long it had this disease I do not know but it was not doing well. My neighbor wanted me to cut it down and it was very unhappy he had to cut his young peace tree down after he found it had the disease, which he believed was due to my tree infecting his.

That year I sprayed I had a hundred nectarines on this scraggly tree. I could not effectively treat the tree entirely because I could not reach high enough and wide enough. I could control the disease though and I do not know what happened after I moved. I only stayed for three years in that home. Yet, from that experience, I was highly impressed with the healing properties of this simple little jar of oil.

I have only had the flu once or twice in my life in my early youth and I rarely get sick so normal taking of vitamin C or zinc or just keeping my hands clean has helped me stay clear of any flu infections over the years. I am one of those people who don't go to doctors and for some reason, from early childhood, I have resisted the idea of leaning on the medical community for healing. When I was a child I had a severe ear infection from swimming in my neighbor's pool and I did not even tell my parents. We happened to be on a sailing cruise to the Bahamas and not near any medical facilities anyway! I had tonsillitis when I was a teen, and again, I said nothing to my parents and suffered with it for weeks. I was not yet educated enough to know what to do to help myself, but I felt no need or desire to seek medical intervention.

When I moved away from home I began studying on my own homeopathy, iridology and other health remedies for natural healing. When my children were growing up they consequently, never went to the doctors either. When my youngest daughter was ten she said to her sister one day, "I thought you only went to the doctors when you were dying!" My two youngest daughters never had a cavity in their mouth. Part of that I attributed to my own diet during my pregnancies in order to provide them a strong body. The other reason was I restricted sweets in their diet.

I have been to a homeopath once. I had strep throat after a stressful move and separation from my first husband. She gave me a remedy and in two days I was healed. I had my own kit and if the children had any sickness I would pick out a remedy and they would quickly heal. If the children had any sign of an earache I would just put Castor oil in their ear and the next day I would hear nothing of any discomfort. I also believed Jesus cured through Castor oil. And I prayed and lived a life of prayer and faith that God was the healer, even if it was through the use of homeopathy.

I did go to the doctors as a teen when I contracted a bladder infection from my first marriage partner. I was given antibiotics, and of course, they worked. When contracted again the doctor told me that I had a short urethra and I should consider having it stretched! I never did and I never went back to the doctors again. I later learned that cranberry juice helped the lining of the bladder to resist the bacteria from attached itself and multiplying and other techniques the doctor should have told me but didn't. I 100% believed in the cranberry juice remedy.

One day I did get a bladder infection that hit me suddenly and for no reason. I had no cranberry juice for days and did the best I could with other simple remedies such as drinking lots of water, something I have difficulty in doing. I don't eat and drink much and I constantly have to remind myself to drink. I tried garlic, another strong  anti-microbial but it disturbed my stomach in capsule form and fresh it is too hard to eat raw. I thought of the oil of oregano but I could not find any in my kit. It took a week for an order to arrive in the mail and meanwhile I got myself some cranberry juice. I tried apple cider vinegar and other suggestions and all helped. But as soon as I stopped drinking or lowered my regime it returned.

Then I received my oil of oregano and started taking 3 drops in water once a day. I immediately had improvement but by the next morning I could feel the symptoms returning. I had bought a 25% solution diluted in olive oil so I realized the dosage of three drops was for straight oregano, not diluted, and I then increased my drops. Again, symptoms would disappear in hours and I would get lax and stop drinking and be symptom-free all day and think I was healed and within a day symptoms would return. Then I realized I was probably not taking enough dosages over the day so I increased the drops to 5 and taking it every couple of hours which ended up only being four, at the most, times a day. By the fourth day I was healed and God told me so.

Today, I was led to share this with others because it is a means of healing any bacteria or virus. The oil is less than $10 depending on which brand, size and dilution you buy. God works through this oil. Faith is always a part of the healing process and it is a big part of my life in using natural remedies. I read somewhere that homeopathics are a placebo and they have no healing powers. Unfortunately, that belief tainted my faith and today I have trouble believing in the remedies even though I have dozens of healing testimonies to its healing abilities. Are homeopathic remedies really the instrument of healing or is it your belief in them?

Can we not apply that to any natural healing remedy? Is it really the instrument or is God through the instrument the healer? What is important is faith. I believed 100% that the oil of oregano is a healer because I watched its powerful effects on my fruit tree. I believe God gave us herbs, plants and flowers to help us heal. Antibiotics treat infections quickly, but they do not heal, they destroy. Cranberry juice assists the body to naturally rid the bladder of bacteria, along with drinking lots of water. Herbs and homeopathics, which come mostly from plants and minerals, have been around for centuries. The Medical Association and those who stand to profit from creating vaccines and antibiotics have tried to wipe out natural healers and herbalists. They have been quite effective but they cannot wipe them out as long as God's people remain on earth.

Worship God and be grateful for the gifts He has given us and Jesus' example in casting out demons and living righteously to protect us from the harmful things in this world and then trust that God's will, no matter the circumstances, is in control.
